Brilliant place, great history to the site and building itself, lovely placement in relation to the castle, old jail, back walk and town. Warm and friendly staff. "Had a fabulous overnight stay with our granddaughter in a family room. We had a lovely room overlooking the front and over to Dunblane. Everything was comfortable. Loved the swimming pool. Staff were excellent and friendly everywhere we were, a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was a huge selection of food served in lovely surroundings. Stayed with friends before and will definitely be back."

"We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. "Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!"
