"Liked hotel, lovely old fashioned atmosphere and spacious rooms. Had to change room due to unacceptable lumpy mattress. New room mattress was better but still needed to be upgraded or replaced. This one issue spoiled what was otherwise an excellent hotel. "

"Historical building which has been heavily invested in to upgrade. Bathroom lovely, lift slow but steady. We loved the history behind the hotel, we did not love the parking which was VERY tight, nor the fire alarm blaring at 11pm, or the amorous couple in the room beside us. We heard every episode! Beds comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were serviced daily. Meals were available. I feel an exhaust fan to the bathroom would be a terrific improvement "

"Great little hotel, veey warm and welcoming, lits of steps to room which was fine for us, but for some a little challenged. Over all was a pleasent stay. Good continental breakfast. Easy check in and out."

"Well laid out for disabled access, no problem parking/unloading. Times require changing in the in the information books, states breakfast served till 10 am when they actually close at 9:30 am. But apart from this a enjoyable stay."

"It was clean and tidy to expectations for pub accommodation. Large freshly carpeted room. Bathroom recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were as advertised one of the best I've had. The village is delightful."

"Lovely little pub, We stayed 2 nights. Barry the Barman and the owners etc were all so lovely and accommodating. Our room (twin) was very spacious, the beds very comfortable. Toiletries and towels provided. The breakfast was fantastic. Lovely pub and lovely little town to visit. "

"At this price point the hotel are advised to review the standard of their bathrooms, bed pillows and mattresses. All of these things let down what otherwise was a very pleasant hotel. First class service from the staff and excellent breakfasts were the undoubted highlights. "

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "We stayed at the Feathers as we went to Ludlow Races. All of the staff were friendly, well organised and very accomodating. Room was spacious with a large bed. English breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Would use again."
