"The Holiday Inn Express in Luoyang is a great deal. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. My room was large and cozy and the bathroom was my favorite part (huge gym-style shower). The breakfast at this hotel is outrageously terrific! Every morning there was a delicious spread of Chinese and Western dishes to enjoy. I was traveling alone during this visit to see the Longmen Grottoes and I felt very safe and happy here. I highly recommend this spot!"

Room is spacious and the attached bathroom, except for its open concept of a glass wall between the room, it has all the amenities and clean.Breakfast included was good and enough varieties to fill me up for the day. "This hotel is so characterful, with lovely Chinese interior designs. We had a room with the cutest tea preparation set (automatic water filling kettle and traditional tea rinsing platform, together with free loose leaf tea) and beautiful bathroom with see-through glass window and peony-design wash basin. Beds are very clean and firm, probably too firm for some, but i loved it and its said firm beds are actually healthier for your back. They have a menu where you can order special pillows e.g....

"We came to Luoyang basically just to see the Longmen Grottoes, so we only stayed 1 night. I wasn't expecting much from this hotel but the room was great. It was spacious, clean, and had a great view. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay here again if/when I return to Luoyang."
