All the best shopping and eating places were nearby. However, the staff was not very friendly and behaved rudely on many instances. Walking distance to Sun Plaza, where you can get the funicular train to the cable car station to Fansipan and back, can easily walk to Sapa centre/church and lake. The only thing you have to take note is that it is a stairs only hotel, no elevator - I already knew this when I booked and was fine with it."

They helped us book tours to Fansipan, they answered all of our random questions and inquiries and offered to find info on our flights when our SIM card wasn’t working and when there was urgency. "Amazing view from your room waking up to what you think is a giant mountain view poster plastered on your window. Location can be tricky to find (Google maps isn’t accurate) and road in can be tough for heavy luggages when coming up. Given fantastic food around, I would skip their breakfasts. But otherwise, fantastic place to stay after a body beating day of trekking around Sapa"
