"This property urgently needs a renovation in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is very old and have mold in the room and bathroom. The towels are extremely old, like the sheets that barely cover the mattresses, not to mention that if you don't know Rio de Janeiro, this property is very far from the city's tourist attractions, it’s located on the part of the mountains and when it rains it is extremely dangerous. "This hotel rating is misleading. It has a score of 8/10 but the rooms are awful. Everything is old...beds, sheets, towels....worse hotel i have ever stayed at booking through Expedia. Tv had no access to the internet, nor cable tv. However, the staff was nice."

"Room is spacious king size bed but two single beds together. Breakfast is very good, internet not so good, had to go out of the room to connect. Good restaurant with good dining options, outside area of the hotel is nice"
