"Once inside hotel all was good. Outside on arrival there was a person relieving himself in the alley to the left of the hotel. The doors did not open I entered after someone else left and there was no one on reception - did not have to wait long though"

"Great location for exploring Aldeburgh and the Suffolk coast. Very pleasant bar and restaurant areas. The Sea Spice Indian restaurant was particularly enjoyable. It’s an old building so there’s lots of stairs and at the time of writing the lift is out of service. The bedroom we occupied was small and comfortable for a short break, but the bathroom was a little dated. However, overall we felt it was good value and we would be happy to stay here again in the future."

"We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Stayed in family rm and lucky to not have other people stay next door so had the shower/toilet to ourselves. Staff were nice, friendly and polite. Flexible in having takeaway sarnies for lunch in place of breakfast. Decor a bit dated and room a little too room, but on the whole felt very comfortable. Thanks 😊 "
