"Perfect hotel in a perfect place . Stayed two nights for a music festival which was a ten minute walk along the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Next time I visit, I will book again."

"Beautiful location, many walking opportunities. The apartment is dog friendly, comfortable, well equipped & spacious, with fantastic views & simple stylish decor. Plenty of room for muddy gear. It is well heated & directly adjacent to the Hunters Inn. Seasoning & condiments are not provided, but there are basic utensils & pans and the all important dishwasher oven, hob & microwave. "We stayed for 1 night taking 2 family rooms, the rooms were large and roomy, clean, lots of room between the double and single bed, the bathroom was of a very high standard, there was plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms,and very warm."

"Superb in every way. Warm and welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Cosy but spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. Fantastic home cooked food and plenty of it! A roaring log fire and honesty bar for drinks and snacks. The views are spectacular and although in a quiet location, within easy reach of the shops. "

"Noise from main road outside. Could benefit from secondary or double glazing. The stairs are very steep and not easy to carry a case up. Very nice breakfast. "

"What an absolutely amazing place stayed 6 nights with my wife that needed a nice break to take her mind off chemo treatment . From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The pub part is amazing friendly staff great beer and food the locals are so friendly to just loved this place . The pods are amazing with lovely views of Exmoor clean warm and just lovely. I will be back soon thats for sure also breakfast is included 😋 "

"Nice comfortable room with adequate facilities in room. Not a lover of toilet brushes and the one in the bathroom was sitting in goodness knows what and noticed it as soon as entered the bathroom as the holder was clear - not nice. No tv remote in room and to be fair we didn’t request one during the stay as we got back late and didn’t notice until ready for bed and would have had to walk into the bar area! "
