"Gutes Hotel, aufmerksames Personal. Gratis Parken vor dem Hotel (limitiert) oder für €10 in der Tiefgarage Völlig angemessene Unterkunft mit guter Anbindung. Einziges Manko war die wohl defekte Steuerung der Heizung. Auch auf Stufe 1 lief die Heizung so stark, das man nachts zeitweise das Fenster öffnen musste, da viel zu warm. Das haben wir beim Techniker angemerkt. Wir kommen gleichwohl bestimmt mal wieder. Zusatztipp: Grieche "Grecum" in Frankenthal "

"We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Especially as Germany won, it was loud until around midnight. Breakfast was ok"

"Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. Service a bit slow."

"My room was clean and a good size. It had a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The best aspects of this hotel were the location, easy access to the hotel with individual code and the host/ owner. The owner went out of his way to help and I was able to leave my case in the room all day and pick it up on the ground floor."

Der Ungeheuersee im Leininger Sporn, einem Teil des nordöstlichen Pfälzerwalds (Rheinland-Pfalz), ist ein flacher Hochmoorteich, der durch den Krumbach gespeist wird. Als Teil des einzigen Hochmoores in diesem Mittelgebirge steht der See seit den 1930er Jahren als Naturdenkmal unter Schutz. Der See ist von Mischwald umschlossen und zeichnet sich durch eine artenreiche Flora am Ufer und auf schwimmenden Inseln aus; beispielsweise werden Wollgräser, verschiedene Orchideenarten und der Rundblättrige Sonnentau, eine fleischfressende Pflanze, angetroffen.
