"We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Especially as Germany won, it was loud until around midnight. Breakfast was ok"

It’s also a few minutes walk to the Water Tower. The property is a bit old and you can smell it as you come inside your room. However, the room is very clean and spacious. "The staff were friendly but there is no reception desk , no check in with a person and no lift Also the hotel is not in a good location. It is on the outskirts of Speyer and you need a car to get into the town centre."

"There was no one at the hotel, I was just sent a code and the room number, and I was not informed about this until the day I checked in (so when I could no longer cancel the reservation). One of the reasons to stay at a hotel is because there is someone there to help navigate the local area. And the person I spoke to via the intercom was neither friendly nor helpful. The room was nice, even if it was three flights up (no elevator)."
