"The staff were amazing - I got to Gronau train station late (after 10pm) due to travel delays. As a consequence there were no taxis available and so the hotel chef kindly collected me. Absolutely amazingly kind and helpful from all the staff. "

"This hotel property is best described as "Past Due"...very past due. The rooms are very small with very old and very tired beds. Two beds means two very tiny one person (small person) bed with a memory matrass that long lost his memory with a paper thing blanket. One tiny towel but that wasn't a problem as the shower was to small to shower a adult person anyway. The included breakfast was (probably due to staffing problems) not worthy to be mentioned a breakfast. At 9 am there wasn't a lot left...

" Long walking distance to room because I am an invalid. Food excellent. Service good. Very hard to find there directions to hotel where bad at night. "

"The hotel was lovely, comfortable and well maintained. It is in the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable but the sheets were very rough. "

"Externally the hotel does not look interesting but it has been renovated and is lovely inside especially the breakfast room. The bedroom was contemporary and very clean. The only downside was the shower as it wasn’t very powerful. Parking in front of the hotel was very easy and free. The breakfast was extremely good. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed. Short walk into town. "
