"Older hotel with some updating done in the last 5 years but needing some deep cleaning done especially with the carpets. Housekeeping could be better. "

"Although a bit older hotel, the room is large and it’s very clean. The staff is excellent and very helpful at the hotel and very knowledgeable about the area as far as good local places to eat and things to do. If we come back to Anchorage AK we definitely would stay here again. The Anchorage Visitor Center and City Trolley Tours is less than 1/2 walk from the hotel. Also, we are staying here late June, when the sunlight is present 23+ hours a day, the blackout curtains did there job!"

"The refurbished rooms are really nice, we were only there for one night but were comfortable, could walk to get dinner and drinks. It is a little hard to find as no big sign out the front but once all renovations are complete I think it will be wonderful. We enjoyed our stay there."

"Very roomy with couch and second tv. Lots of plugs that are accessible for charging phones, etc. Don’t have an elevator so have to carry suitcases upstairs. The bellhop was very accommodating and carried the big suitcases up for us so really not a big deal. I definitely recommend!!"
