"Beautiful small boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Room was large with a comfortable bed, attached bathroom and fireplace. Breakfast was put in a small fridge in my room for the next morning. I found the front desk situation odd though. No one at the desk before 10 am or after 8 pm. Tried calling at 9:30 am to ask how to check out but no one answered. Guests are responsible for making sure the front door was locked when desk person not there, slightly discomforting."

"What can we say! Wonderful retreat out in the countryside. The location to dining, Sidney, airport and Air museum are very close. The accommodation is beautifully done. Our hosts were friendly and enjoyable. Enjoy!!"

"We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely."

"Beautiful, conveniently located. The staff are very helpful and kind. Let us check in early as the room was ready and kindly allowed us to hang out in the lounge after our checkout while we waited for our ferry. The room was cozy and quiet with a great view. Very dog friendly. Great little family winter getaway."

I would suggest two things that are easy to attain for future improvement—not complaining. a) Please watch for animal/pet/farm animal hair in food. We ate all the food but picked out some hair :) Perhaps a better vacuum or pets to be separated from the cooking area. b) I think the faucet upgrade on both...

"Excellent Stay! The view is amazing! The suite is also very very nice - the pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommended. I stayed at the Days Inn 1 day prior however this place is a much better place to spend your time and and $$$. The owner is also very pleasant and made the experience even better."
