Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. "The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"After a smooth check-in, I got a spacious modern room with a nicely appointed ensuite that had a good large shower. Overall the hotel had a friendly and helpful atmosphere. It also had a good secure underground carpark (accessable by lift from within the hotel) I arrived about 5pm on a Saturday and the attached restaurant's kitchen was closed so I had to make do with a takeaway but that (as well as a large supermarket) was closeby, about 7min drive. The hotel is located in an industrial estate...
