"We stayed at Villa Chingo for 3 nights in the top floor 3 person room. The accomodation had amazing balcony views and was the perfect place for a peaceful start to our holiday. The premises were clean and there were kitchen facilities to use. The host Lupco was great- very friendly and helpful- he was always available for any questions and help. The one downside is that the location is quite far from Ohrid town, so unless you want peaceful break or have a car, it may be a task to get a cab...

"Daniel and his mom have taken care of me as though I am family. I intended to stay for 3 days and have extended to over 2 weeks. The apartment is well equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable. The apartment is in a perfect location with many restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and shops. "

"I stayed in this hotel with my daughter for a quick visit in Ohrid. The receptionists were accommodating and the restaurant staff were helpful. The food in the breakfast buffet were not great. The room was dirty & dusty. The cleaner simply empties the bin and didn't clean our room. I had to prompt her to vacuum. Our booked room was a regular room and when I saw it, it was so disappointing. My daughter & I travel quite often and I can say that it's never a 4 star standard, not even 3 star!...

"Spent three lovely days in Ohrid at the Tino hotel after a stressful few weeks at work. It's clean and ideally located lake front - just a short walk to the town centre and the old town and about 20mins to St John at Kaneo (the famous lakeside church). The hotel staff were lovely and really helpful - finding bus times etc. They have a sister hotel 4km away which they said I could use the pool of - I didn't but it's worth thinking of if you're there a while I guess! The restaurant was delicious!...

"The room was filthy. We are a family and travel frequently and I would never recommend a family stay here. The room was filthy and covered with spiders. We even killed a scorpion in our bed. Our children were scared all the time because of the spiders everywhere. The bathrooms were covered in water and we had to wear shoes to go to the bathroom. The smell from the bathroom was very poor and strong. I am sure this hotel was nice at one point, but it is in need of serious cleaning and attention."
