"Loved the atmosphere and staff were just lovely and very accommodating. Restaurant food was very good just limited on food and drink options -highly recommend the lemon drizzle cake! Downsides of the property were based on the room, we had a standard double. Upon arrival the room was cold with heating off.... why when we were booked in for 2 nights? Due to room not being heated to continual heat level There was mould in the bedroom and bathroom- if the heating was kept on or even small...

"Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. "The Bugle Inn is the oldest building in the area. We had our evening meal in the bar, the food was lovely, good portions size, nicely presented. We had a good night's sleep, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot. We did find a cobweb. Breakfast was a full cornish and was lovely. "
