"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. We stayed at 5 of Toyoko Inns...

I wasn't expecting much, but if this was the price range of Daiwa hotels in other Prefectures, and if the quality is consistent then I'd definitely keep booking! First of all, the hotel seems pretty new, or at least recently renovated. Interiors are modern & up to date. Staff are friendly & helpful. "I was totally impressed by the varieties available at the buffet breakfast. Since my stay was for 1 day only, able to try all types of local delights was certainly a treat. Akita's folk songs were played to enhance the ambiance, I enjoyed with my ears while filling up my dummy happily."

"30 minute walk from station or 10 minutes bus ride with 5 minutes walk or quick or affordable taxi. Onsen was great. Lots of amenities. Park with cherry blossoms, convenience store, and restaurants within walking distance. Beds are comfortable. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!"
