"Gun lobby area with board games, beer and wine. Superb snow clearance after nearly a foot of snowfall. Very walkable to everything Tahoe City offers, lake, coffee, restaurants, hiking and snowshoeing right out the back. "

"We liked the breakfast buffet and dinner at the on site restaurant. Our kids enjoyed playing in the snow on site, sledding, and enjoying the large outdoor hot tub. Our room could have been bigger and more updated. At a minimum, the room needed black out shades as it faced the parking lot where a light was on all night, plus the headlights of cars leaving and parking disturbed our sleep as well. "

"the property itself was good but the service lacks. we have asked for blanket and were refused. also make sure that door cards are not working after some hour and there is no one to talk with after 10pm. we have left stranded out of property at 20*F "

"The property was cute. There were some communication issues, ie never did get a response to a message sent a week or two before the reservation, and got text alerts that I would get emails that I did not receive re how to check in. Called and was told that was an issue that they were aware of. There seems to be some variability as a friend’s unit of the same room category was amazing, whereas ours had some broken cabinets and no upgraded touches. Overall, convenient location and not a bad place...

"The room was great, clean and stocked with what you would expect. My only issue was the shower only had cloth shower curtains and there was no door to separate the room from the bathroom. I like to keep the room cool, therefor the bathroom was always chilly and the water temp in the shower was not very hot. Otherwise great option for someone looking to stay in north lake for under $800 a night and have access to a small casino. "
