"We ended up staying here for a total of almost 2 weeks. We would stay here and then check out to go do treks in the jungle, but then always return to this hotel. The property is beautiful, kept in perfect condition. Everything is very clean, there is always hot water. They have a free baggage storage service, that's nice. "Nice place to getaway from cell phones, email etc. as they do not have wi-fi. Beautiful, refreshing pool. Excellent mission to be eco-friendly. We enjoyed the screened in room right on the river and hearing the rain. However, it gets very warm and there is no fan. Food is excellent. The staff (except for the activities director) was unfriendly. Acted like we were inconvencing them. Need better trading. No one on the staff spoke English.
