"This was the first stop on our trip thru Spain, embarking from Bilbao. Four sixty year olds looking for peace and quiet. We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. "Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con. "

"Fatal. Los alrededores del hotel es un barrio marginal e inseguro. Ademas en la recepción del hotel nunca hay nadie, siempre tienes que llamar a un teléfono y viene alguien. Pero sin duda lo peor son los vecinos ya que fuimos por trabajo y una de las noches no pudimos dormir de 01:00h a 04:00h de la mañana de los ruidos y cantes de los vecinos. "
