The rooms are amazing and perfect for a family on a quick road trip/city break. the pattiserie next to the hotel is a godsend with amazing products perfect for the morning breakfast and there are loads of shopping areas close by (10 min driving distance). "This is our 4th time staying with Sequoia Lodge. The walk to the park past the lake and through the village is so quick and a nice walk. The rooms are big and there’s a small walk through closet / changing area as well. We tried Golden Forest Club room this time and I don’t think we’d not choose this when we go again! It added an extra bit of exclusivity and also the club room was a treat! Can’t wait to visit again."

"The staff at check in were very friendly and polite, we had an issue with our door but the service people came and got us in quickly, the rooms are rather dated and really cold even with the heating on, the beds are very hard and squeek and awful lot, so if like myself your a light sleeper this will waoe you up all night. However davy crockett was great for our 1 night stay and we would stay again just with extra layers this time. "

The cabin was lovely just lacked a few things such as dustpan and brush, however on first inspection we walked in and there was a empty yogurt pot on the table. The beds were made but had a used tooth flosser under the sheets of the master room, so that was disappointing. No ash tray provided outside and unfortunately had some mould, looked to be untreated wood for the shelves. And...
