"Sea World Boutique is a FANTASTIC hotel - we loved our stay there. The hotel itself is stunning (the pictures don't even do the beauty of the location justice!) but more than that, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, so friendly and it was a difficult day when we had to leave! There is no daily house keeping, which was fine for us, they did ask of we needed any new towels or toilet paper. The location was great and overall it was a good experience. "Excellent stay. Friendly, helpful staff. WiFi and air con worked well. Quiet location off the main road. Beautiful beaches and lots of good restaurant/bar options. I’ll be back soon!"

"Nice small hotel close to the beach, town and bars etc. Nice pool and bar area and food is good (we had to pay extra for breakfast). Ideal for a short break, the hotel arranged turtle swimming for us and can organise many other trips, also Spa on site. We had travelled from Tissa and first impressions here was that Marissa was very touristy and the route to the “secret beach” is a rubbish strewn dirt track, however once we settled in, we enjoyed the area."

"Very dated furniture/ decor and a little basic , no hot water insects in the bathroom , However all is forgiven when you step onto the balcony the view was to die for could have sat on that balcony everyday for the rest of my life , truly phenomenal "

"There are 3 hotels in the Somerset group. This is away from the beach. Its up a very steep narrow concrete road. Its dark in the night and only 1 vehicle can go up or down this dark narrow road. The hotel staff are really nice. The rooms are a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was a joke as compared to hotels we have stayed in colombo. There was no buffet. Just a plate of fruit and eggs if you asked. Better stay is closer to the beach and somerset has a hotel right on tne beach"

"This a nice property with staff that tries very hard. Pros- we started with a really nice welcome drink and our room had an awesome view (very small deck) and a very comfy bed with nice pillows. The shower works well and has a lot of hot water. The pool is lovey. Great yoga room and yoga instructor. We went for a massage and that was delightful, the masseuse is wonderful. Pool is great and they have nice pool towels. They provide 2 litres of water a day (plastic) and the breakfast is really...

"Fine rummelige værelser, renlighed kunne være bedre, sæbe dispenser på badeværelset virker ikke, ikke noget myggenet til børnesengen, tyndslidte håndklæder, fin pool, fin morgenmad, fantastisk udsigt til morgenmaden, manglede bare noget koldt at drikke til morgenmaden, tæt på stranden, hvor der er en del larm, søde og venlige medarbejdere."
