"I've stayed at the hotel previously, it's ideally situated and the staff are very accommodating. The room is comfortable and I would stay again. The only negative point was breakfast, this was the first time I'd had breakfast here and the service was very slow. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35am, at 9:27am I was still waiting for my food. This was not ideal, given I was meant to leave at 9:30am. If breakfast starts at 8:30am, then all food should be ready to serve from that time."

"We were located in the annex, across the road, with on street parking. 1 flight of stairs to room which was sufficiently sized for an overnight. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom well stocked, but lots of condensation as there was no window or fan? Builders were working on flat roof right outside the window which was a bit of a shock for both of us! Would recommend this hotel"

"Apart from them not expecting me, they weren't doing breakfast and the telly was broken, I have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what was hoped for with a comfortable bed and functioning hot shower. A bit pricey for a pub in April."

"An enjoyable weekend break, the room was very spacious with a large bathroom and powerful shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a self service breakfast was available with cereals, bread for toasting (there was also bacon, scambled egg and beans available). There was off road parking on site for all those staying there. The booking in process prior to arrival was very clear and concise"

Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might...

"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. We ate in the restaurant with the menu offering a good variety of food and we we very happy with the quality of the food. Finally a big thank you to Dela who was a supMagerb host. "
