I asked the guy for a refund and he called me a “pompous American.” We had to find a new place to stay and hotels.com didn’t seem to care at all. In my opinion my stay that I hate to book last minute at higher rates should have been paid for by THEIR MISTAKE. But...

There is a nice bar attached just refitted, Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a nice touch also. One of the few hotels I have had a decent sleep in their beds. It is on a busy road so during the week the traffic starts around 6.30 but not really an issue as I would be be getting up for work. They make really good proper scramble eggs for breakfast.
