Reception very good- willing to adjust room to our needs- I chose a quiet room at the back as I like to open the window. Beautiful courtyard. Lack of their own parking is a drawback but I used free parking in a road nearby and there is plenty of paid parking available. Good central location. "

"A one night stay in central Stamford worked well. Very old building and very quirky. I called to see where i could park and the owner came out and showed me a space in his car parking area. Breakfast was in a fridge in the room with fresh milk , cereals, tea coffee etc which was fine. Be prepared for small stairs!"

"Room acceptable and not too noisy as it was on the side away from the dual carriageway. Bedding clean, as was bathroom, except on the back of the door. Single bed mattresses made me feel like I would slide off them onto the floor so put them onto the floor - still very uncomfortable, unfortunately. Still, reasonable value for the price."

"It’s a very basic B&B, I choose it because of the location, the receptionsit was very helpful, no problems there, but the room is quite small, the beds are terrible, there is mould on the bathroom wall, and stains on the towel. It’s not the best value for money, considering other options in the city, but it was about right for me purely because of the location just a 5 minute walk from the Mattioli Arena where I had business to do during my stay. "
