"The property was clean but it was old. All the furniture and appliances were maybe over 30 years and it was like staying in the 1950. But my wife liked the breakfast. The staff were great and helpful. But the hotel itself needed renovation."

Tastefully decorated.No bar on site but a fabulous bar across the courtyard working in liaison with the hotel. We stayed one night on our journey down to our Italian home and immediately rebooked for the stopover on the way back to England."

This is a hostel that allows you to store your luggage, since this is not available at the train station. This was great for me since I did not want to carry two heavier pieces of luggage with me for a day and a half trip to Lake Como. It was very affordable too.
