"Hotel Allegra is in Kloten, about a half hour outside the city. A metro station is a 5 minute walk which we found very convenient. Restaurants were not within easy reach. We bought a daily train pass to go to meeting places in the city for tours we booked. The hotel has an older section and a new one. Our family of 4 occupied a quadruple room in the older section. "This charming little place was just what we needed to unwind. The room was perfect, with a view that really helped me relax. The area surrounding this hotel is so quaint and lovely, as if you're living inside a movie. The church bells are amazing! The staff are very kind and understanding of my lack of the German language. We didn't have enough time to try the breakfast, but I can only imagine it being just as fulfilling as everything else."
