"The hotel is a fairly long walk from the train station, but it's an easy one. The hotel is just next to the cable car to Schilthorn, which is great. The front desk closes about 4-5 p.m., so if you arrive after that make sure to contact them. Very clean. Very nice staff. "

"Can't say enough good things about our stay. We enjoyed it so much we extended an extra 2 days (stayed 5). The breakfast buffet is the best we've had in 2 months. The staff are friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Kandersteg is a lovely village that's not overrun with tourists. There's great hiking in the area and it's convenient to the other, more well known areas."

"Literally the best, most spectacular views of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Location is a bit tricky, as you have to take a train up from Lauterbrunnen then walk about 6-7 minutes up and down hill to get there,. But it is entirely worth it once Interlacken and other points by train. Also, this hotel has a wonderful breakfast, with a wide selection of meats, fruits, cheese, breads and cereals. You can tell the staff is extremely meticulous about the set up. Finally, from what we saw, this hotel is owned and run by the hardest working hotelier in Europe. She was everywhere, and did everything. You could sense a real commitment to accomodating the guests and making them happy."
