"Perfect location for going just 20km north to Heidelberg or less than an hour south to the scenic roadway through the Black Forest from Baden Baden. The hotel is at the end of its street in a quiet neighborhood and backs up to farmland. Plenty of free parking. We had no children with us, but there is lovely open space for them to run about and a walking trail to a small park. "we booked the property based on the very appealing restaurant pictures. However the restaurant was closed and alternative dining options are very poor. We couldn't even order some hot coffee during the afternoon as all the machines were off. The village is ok(ish) but good luck using your card for paying, it seems they got stuck in 2015 as cash is the only option. The hotel's pool, spa and breakfast were good."

"Great view of the Rhein River and easy access to many places to eat. You can hear the trains go by on the opposite side of the Rhein which was OK with us. What was not OK was the two buses of high school kids that arrived the night before we left. Every 15 to 20 minutes until :30 am. It was terrible. First night was great."
