"Please be in mind the train tracks into Zoogarten station are right next door to the hotel, so if your room is on the side of the train tracks, you will not be able to open your window as the trains are very loud. Even with the window closed I could still hear the trains passing by. I asked to be moved to another room for the rest of my stay, but for the first night I could not sleep, trains too loud."

Karlshorst S-Bahn was a five minute walk away and there were a number restaurants on the main drag that the hotel was situated on. "The hotel is in a busy area but the windows keep the noise out, it’s very convenient to the Uber arena and the Berlin Wall, and very nice view of the river Spree. It has the best breakfast area and food of all the Hampton Inn, I have stayed in. "

"Hotel is in a location with excellent transport links and shops locally. Staff on check in desk were friendly. Room was spacious and good size for a family of 4. The only negative was the beds! The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all as you could feel the bars from the sofa bed through the mattress, and the springs were noisy even with children using it, The 2 main single beds were quite hard. "The location was central near the main train station in Berlin. There were lots of restaurants/food stands and stores nearby. The rooms were clean and quiet, we were on the 5th floor and rarely heard any noise disturbance from the street other than the odd sirens. "

It’s a 3 minute walk to Berlin Central Station and is a really great Hotel if you want to walk to explore the city. Infinite Gratitude to the Hotel and Staff especially! "
