"The hotel was excellent. We had a Lakeview room. The bathroom did have an odd smell of sewer, but we didn’t care, The area around the pool was under construction, but we did use it. I’m sure it’ll be nice once it’s done."

"The hotel is very clean and has an excellent bathroom in the room. It was confusing to locate the front desk and I had to eventually call and ask where they were. The signs were just very unclear. There was no way to request one bed so my partner and I ended up with a bed that had a large gap down the middle as I suspect this was seen as the two bed twin option? Very uncomfortable. Everyone we interacted with was polite."

"My suite was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a big balcony. The bathroom was kinda small and very basic. There's no air conditioning at this property; they provide fans, though. The room is advertised as having a mountain view, which is sort of true. I would have preferred a room with views over the castle and fortress, which I could glimpse from the end of the balcony. "The staff made this hotel, the reception staff were always lovely. Great room, kettle, mini bar, etc and the pool/sauna was an added bonus. No parking but everything is so compact that it’s nearby to walk. Comfy duvets! "

"The property appears to be brand new, modern, and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is not walkable from the railway station or from the town of Thun but there is a convenient bus that ends in a station opposite the hotel. It takes about 10-12 minutes on that bus to arrive from the railway station."
