"This historic house for a week was perfect for our family with two five year olds and a 7 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and there was nice outdoor space to eat and have a fire. The village was peaceful and quiet, and the house was a great launching point for adventures all over the area. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and we had no issues with our stay! We would go back again if we ever make it back to that...

"This rental is a DUMP. The exterior is littered with garbage, old lawn furniture, broken playground equipment, discarded building materials and dead mice. The inside is camped, dark and dirty (our white socks were filthy two seconds after walking around the house). The village of Saxeten, however, is lovely. It is remote, peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Many of the homes here are very tidy and well-kept, so this rental seems to be a blight to the community"

"I don’t know where to begin- everything about our stay was absolutely AMAZING! We were greeted by Klara and her son. They had the fire place started and house warmed up, which was perfect since we had our two toddlers with us. The view from the dining area and top balcony is breathtaking. "The property exceeded expectations. The chalet has a nice character in a beautiful setting. Kitchen is small but everything works well. It would be a bit of a squeeze if all rooms were filled. I would definitely return if I get the chance!"
