The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. "We very much enjoyed the use of the kitchen, stocked with knifes, cutlery, pots and pans, cups, glasses, cutting boards, oven, microwave, cook top, coffee maker, fridge and freezer….to name a few! Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....
