"All the staff were welcoming and helpful but particularly Jessica at reception, Pedro in the restaurant looked after us so well and was so kind and accommodating. Marieke aka ‘breakfast mama’ was lovely and fun and friendly each morning overseeing everyone had what they needed for a tasty and generous breakfast. "my fiancè & I loved our 2 night stay here !!! very close to train & bus terminals. even walking distance to some parts of the area. the view is spectacular!! they offer free breakfast, which was perfect, & even offered complimentary chocolate due to some renovations happening, which didn't even bother the both us. our room was so clean too !! and above all, STAFF IS AMAZING. we will definitely go back <3 "

"To be exact, this review should really be for the Hey Hotel as I got upgraded to a family room, which was a pleasant surprise. Long story short, I originally had a reservation at an apartment but as I misunderstood the check-in time, I had to scramble to book one night stay at The Guesthouse since we arrived late at around 11pm. The Guesthouse/Hey Hotel is probably the one of the very few that could accommodate late check-in. My family was pleasantly surprised to be informed by Arnis that we got upgraded. As it was quite late at night already and we have been on the train pretty much whole day, this was certainly a much welcomed gesture. The room was very spacious and clean"

"While the property is older, it had everything that we needed. It was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. We had the family room that had two single beds on the first floor with two single beds upstairs. The room was small, but it was adequate. I really loved opening the windows to let the fresh air in during the month of April. The window and the ceiling was leaking water just a little bit. But it was taken care of by the maintenance guy after we had reported it to the front desk."

"Excellent breakfast. Beautiful location. The view from the breakfast hall looking down on the castle/town is wonderful. Bus 65 stop Spiez Grueb is about 3 minutes walk from hotel. It takes approximately 10 minutes to and from the bahnhof in Spiez. The selection of music channels on the tv is great."
