"The guest house was a convenient place to stay and very clean.Noisy at night sometimes and the builders worked 8.ooam till 11pm one night we were there out the front which was very annoying and kept us awake."

"We really loved this hotel. Perfect location and historic charm. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful. We had a room on the top floor with canal view which was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small as in the eaves so tricky for my 6ft 6 husband and no shower to stand in. We'd definitely return to this hotel "

"The Upstairs hotel was a very stylish and fun hotel just steps from the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful! One small point is if you do book one of the small/cheap rooms, they aren't easily accessible via the lifts. You will need to go down a couple of flights of stairs which can be tough with heavy luggage. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Ostend!"
