"20 min easy walk to town. Hotel rooms clean and spacious and good value for money. (beds a bit too firm for us!!) Due to new legislation for booking in, ( passport details, email etc)it took a while as chap at reception didn't speak English and my Spanish is poor( thank you google translate!)we got there in the end. Restaurant, cafeteria next to hotel, good food , excellent coffee, excellent staff."

"Firstly, the breakfast pastries are some of the best pastries I’ve had in my life. (And trust me when I say I’ve had many pastries before today) crisp on the outside, feather soft on the inside. Dinner in the hotels restaurant was delicious!! The lamb shoulder was recommended and did not disappoint. The staff were soooo helpful, gave excellent advice re the hike. Super kind and friendly. Thank you to you all! The room was clean and bed comfy. Would absolutely stay again should I do the hike again. "

"After my girlfriend could not come on the vacation due to appendicitis, I decided to travel to Alora solo. The region is just stunning and David and Wendy were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home . I have never woken up to such a stunning view. "Typical Spanish hotel, full of dark furniture but in an excellent position. Restaurant looked good but was closed, maitre de directed us to possibly the worst restaurant in spain.Will definitely return as Antequera is delightful"
