"Great peaceful compound, but I was lucky to get in - having booked and paid for a nonrefundable room on Expedia the day before, on arrival they didn't know anything about it and said they were sold out. After about an hour they resolved it. My double room small cottage was rustic but very clean - no bugs or anything similar. "This is my second time staying. I really enjoy the place. Its very peaceful and the staff is excellent. "The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...

"We enjoyed our stay at this resort right from when arrived we were welcomed warmly by the manager and the staff who ensured we had everything in our villa. The resort was quiet and peaceful… a great place to unwind. The bar manager Abdallah was amazing. The GM and all the managers checked on us every day in case we needed anything especially having a two year old in our company. I would definitely consider visiting this resort again "

"Boxo might be more suitable for travellers who are looking for very basic place for stay. Keep in mind that it is literally a sea container turned into a tiny room. One thing I was very upset during the breakfast is that only 1 cup of coffee is included (which unfortunately tasted quite flat). In the main restaurant served food way so-so. Quite didn’t enjoyed a food there. However, staff is very friendly and nice. "

"Overall a very enjoyable experience. Well fitted out apartments in a great location with easy beach access and convenient for local supermarket, bars and restaurants. My only criticism is the with some of the listing particulars - Breakfast is not included, toiletries only extend to bars of soap, and the bar was not open due to the fact they had 'residents' and wanted to avoid noise. Apart from this misrepresentation I would happily recommend these apartments."
