"Due to the past 2 hurricanes things are still closed. The resort is not fully up and running. Only one restaurant open. "

"I loved this place! The location was centrally located - about 20 minutes to walk to the harbour and centre of town. The staff were amazing - it felt like we were with family. Restaurant: The food was really good. Simple and tasty. The restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The veranda was so nice to enjoy a coffee or meal. Amazing dessert options. Lobby: It was alway busy with guests coming and going or just sitting relaxing. Pleasant to be in. Staff: The people working here were all so friendly and accommodating. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Room: The guest room was basic (this is an old hotel) but clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The mattress was firm with a pillow top. My only complaint is the room was really dark. The walls were painted dark. The windows were small. The lighting was inadequate and glaring. Pretty much impossible to read for any length of time. "

"The place was great and look forward to coming back after renovations are completed. The staff wasn't very helpful in telling us where our room was located. It was close to the collage we were touring but that was about it. "

"Always happy to stay at a Holiday Inn, and this one did not disappoint. Excellent customer service, and the restaurant downstairs was very good. They do have a shuttle service, but it wasn't operating when I needed it, but the Uber pickup was extremely quick. Will stay here next time I'm in Clearwater, FL!"
