"A warm welcome and able to access room early which was brilliant as we were very tired and it was very wet weather. We loved the well equipped kitchenette in the room so we could cook dinner during our stay. Lift from outside car park up to reception wasn’t working but main lift in hotel up to rooms was fine. "

"Photos on hotels.com are extremely misleading, room I got was very old and tired. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I asked at reception and was told none available for the room. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly but this does not make up for the room being nothing like the photos. Just old and run down and lacking facilities. Plus the Wi-Fi did not work for my entire two day stay. I’m assuming some rooms have been renovated but I got given an un renovated room...

"The hotel itself is beginning to look a little dated compared to othe ibises, but it was clean and tidy and had the usual ibis comfort, however what it lacked in modernness it more than made up for by it’s amazing staff , a special mention has to go the young man who greeted me on my very late arrival was so friendly, polite and welcoming , but all the other staff were equally as nice . They are a credit to the ibis name "

"Great stay and would really recommend. About a 30-40 minute walk into the city centre which is great to get in and out easily. Customer service fantastic, room spacious even for the studio and loved the atmosphere. Only issue I had was the sulphur smell coming from the bathroom tap- made cleaning my teeth and washing my face an unpleasant experience. Not sure if connected to the canal which is just close by but otherwise, would seriously recommend as was a great deal! "
