"The Elegant Desert Camp has beautiful grounds, including an amazingly isolated feeling desert camp. However, in the summer months, the heat in these luxurious tents is almost unbearable (it easily exceeds 40C/104F during the day) and there are no fans, let alone air conditioners. While temperatures do drop overnight, they remain above 27C/80F for most of it. Fans would help. On both occasions, we had tables set with white cloths, chairs, good cutlery and crockery and we sat on comfortable chairs, all of which were set out on kilims.
