"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...

"What an adorable and beautiful place! It provided the perfect ambience for relaxing and recharging after a 4 week long trip around Tuscany. The place is comfortable, peaceful and the breakfast is magnificent! Everybody we interacted with was kind, sweet and welcoming. Excellent location for exploring the Val D'Orcia. "We were one of two American couples staying here. Someone asked how we found this gem! It is a quiet place overlooking some of Tuscany. The room wasn't as pictured that we got, but I would guess some rooms look this way. Was still nice and had a small balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. What brought us here was the Saturnia Thermal Springs which is just 10 minutes or so away. The springs are free to the public and magnificent!! There is paid public parking about a 5-10 min walk away and...

"The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."
