"For what we paid, breakfast inclusive, and as we were only really just passing through, we were really pleased with it. Service was exemplary, and in the main the public areas were fairly upto date. Looking at a few of the other reviews, to an extent they have a point: the room fittings and decor, beds, and external areas could do with some investment. But I'm no hotel critic, I was there to get fed, watered and get some shuteye. To that extent, it did the job perfectly. The minor points...

"It was central to my needs. As a former resident of Perth I knew the area and it suited my needs. Although on a main thoroughfare it was quiet through the night and my sleep was not disturbed "

"Interesting old country house in beautiful grounds but with modern facilities e.g. swimming pool. Staff were excellent and plenty of choices for dinner which was tasty. Only negative is that the bedroom walls were paper-thin and key-card door latches noisy. Luckily our neighbours were quiet. Would stay again."

"The staff were great the restaurant was super. Happy to give extra towels, milk etc. The reception staff gave us lots of information on local places and a large selection of information pamphlets in reception plus a large living room type room on the first floor with comfy sofas."

"My first impression when i walked into our room was WOW this looks way better than the pictures, it was really nice are specious. The shower was so spacious and immaculate. The tv in the room was better than we've ever experienced. The Wi-Fi was great had no problems with it at all. Check in and check out went soothly. It nice not to have keys to gain entrance to the main door and our room, its all done with access codes, so no worrying about losing keys. I couldnt recommend this property more...
