They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River. "Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "

"This place is really, really remote. You eat what they have, you do what they offer, etc. No roaming about looking for restaurants, shops, etc. Power issues meant no internet most of the time and I had to pay cash ($1500) for the stay and the spa treatments. Staff is perfect and brought tea to my room when i felt ill. Swimming pool and view is amazing "
