"This was my 4 th time in Abano but 1st time with kids and 1st time at the principe. We had a great time. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. The bus stop for Venice and Padova was right in front of the hotel and the pedestrian area just a few minutes walk. The second room was nicer with pretty good furniture. The hotel staff was dancing around on whether to charge us for an upgrade. Consider other nearby 4 star hotels for almost the same price. Pool has scum build up that has never been cleaned. "

"I enjoyed the stay except that the pool was being cleaned in the middle of the day so we were not able to use. The a/c (and all electronics) only worked when the key was inserted into a slot-- meaning we came back to a hot room every time. The restaurant opened late and was fairly pricey. "The hotel is very clean, aesthetically pleasing and well located. The staff were really friendly, especially the bar manager who went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay (legend!). Two pools to choose from, sun deck, good choice at breakfast; plenty to keep you entertained. The only minor issue for me was the air conditioning in the room, it really struggled to keep the temperature down even with all doors shut and on the lowest setting. Great hotel though; would definitely stay...
