"Great hotel and the kids skiing/ sledding area next door was super! "

"We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing...

"Amazing staff, VIEWS, & location. Room was dated -furniture and bed. The views are to die for, restaurant was beautiful romantic, good food. Easy easy to take train or boats anywhere... I would stay here again and again, and... again. "

"This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience. We will be returning again if at all possible."
