"Close to train station, one mile to tower. Close to main shopping and good restaurants close by. Only thing we didn't like was the shower doors were tight, similar to an RV. Otherwise a good stay. Would suggest you have you own bathroom and get A/C, otherwise the city sounds may bother some. "

Cleanliness can be improved -- mostly in the bathroom, e.g., back of shower door etc. But it was a comfortable stay despite the climb to the first floor, which the lift doesn't reach. "Hotel Rex's staff are friendly and helpful. There is construction right out front so the view wasnt great but they didn't start working til 9ish so it was not disruptive. Location is close to entrance to Lucca and they are working on making it more pedestrian friendly. "

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies!
