"A lovely hotel, nice big room with comfy bed. This is definitely not a dog friendly hotel, we had hoped to have a drink in the bar after the stressful weekend we'd had but no. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant which I fully understand but they are not allowed in any area in the bar. So basically you walk through reception and go straight to the room with your dog. This is not dog friendly at all and you even have to pay £15 a night for this. Honestly if you have a dog don't bother going...

"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"A friendly welcoming hotel. Very much on the dated side. The room was large enough for us as a family but a little dirty in places. The swimming pool was a bonus and very much a highlight however requires a good clean in some places. Overall a pleasant stay! "
