"Modern hotel, lovely low-key decor, top-notch service. Great views from the roof-top bar. Walking distance to the promenade, shops, and restaurants, but not so close that it gets noisy. The breakfast buffet was totally worth it. Don't miss the gigantic dollar store next door."

"Great hotel, within 10-15 mins walking distance to Faro Old Town, Marina and bus/train station, very near shopping street. Perfect for overnight stays, super convenient location. Room was large, spacious double bed with comfy mattress, duvet and included towels/toiletries, tea/coffee/kettle, and good Wifi. Everything looks newly refurbished, very clean, light and airy. I had a really nice welcome by hotel staff on arrival, i would recommend staying to any traveller."

"We booked this on a bit of a last minute family trip and it turned out to be a delight. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic, all the staff are very friendly and lots of them made a fuss of our children and kept them smiling. Drinks are reasonably priced, our family room was spacious. We had a partial sea view that we were happy with. Room service did a great job tidying up each day. There’s no bad things I have to say about the place, just wish the weather was better but you can’t have it all. We will definitely come back to Dom Jose. Location is fantastic too!"
