"The restaurant is great—delicious food and a breakfast buffet with plenty of options to kick-start your morning. The staff? Friendly. But there's an interesting duality to this place: you've got the Ibis side and the Mercure side. I never ventured over to the Mercure part, but it seemed to attract a lively professional crowd as well as some older guests. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their main bread and butter. Meanwhile, the Ibis side—where we stayed—had this trendy ghost town vibe....

"Overall it was fine. When I first saw it on the river I thought that would be cool. But it is behind the highway. Not so cool. Parking garage was a wee bit tight getting into and out of but it was nice having parking! We still walked everywhere. Nice town. "Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. "Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate....
