"We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing...

"The self check in system is really strange. When we checked in via the self check in kiosk it was difficult to operate and we didn’t see a soul there, Perhaps on account of the off season but it was a strange sensation overall. You don’t get a key or a code, you get a printed QR code that you have to scan. Which you need to even use the elevator or stairs. This made it super difficult considering we had three people traveling with us and I wonder what the protocol is if there was an emergency...

"The hotel overall felt very relaxing with its interior and exterior design. I loved its atmosphere. We loved their three-course dinners. One thing they can improve is the elevator. It is very slow and very hot inside on hot summer days."

"Good location for the Moon & Stars festival. Nicely decorated and very clean. No reception so you get an online check-in form the day before but I didn't so I had to ask for it - that was slightly intense. When checking out, you're supposed to pay city tax at the restaurant at the ground floor. In my case, the staff were so busy and I waited for at least 20 minutes to get it sorted. That was the only down side staying at this hotel. "

"Property and location were amazing! Proximity to train station, dining and downtown were also fantastic. Had a bit of an issue with the AC unit, but staff was very accommodating and worked diligently to address! We will be back! "
