"A great property with many nice amenities and hospitable staff! Fantastic breakfast with good gluten-free choices (was included in our stay) and inventive dining options on the property. Very near (walking distance) to Lugano train station and center of the city. Staff was great in explaining how to use Ticino transportation card (a great perk in the area, especially with the train station so close ) -- and then working with us on options when our flight was delayed on the last day. "The hotel is in a brilliant location for Stressa itself and for the boats to the Islands. The hotels interior is very Palatial, we expected it to be some what Palatial it was vastly more than we expected. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was lovely."
