"We received a warm welcome from the staff at this very popular Inn in the village of Hardraw. Our room was compact, clean and cosy, with an ensuite shower, basin and toilet, very nicely decorated and furnished and with a view over the adjacent churchyard. Due to the popularity of the Inn together with the fact that it shares a carpark with the adjacent Hardraw Force Waterfall & Tearoom, parking can be tight, but we were lucky and managed to find a space throughout our two night stay. "It was very quiet when i stayed in December, well out of season. But the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. As it was so quiet, the bar wasnt open but there are good pubs a few steps away. I would stay here again quite happily. "

"Beautifully appointed lodge room situated on the edge of a golf complex approx 30 minute walk from Kendal. We stayed in Dalesway, lodge 2. Lovely fresh linen and very comfortable bed. Nice selection of complimentary toiletries in a luxury bathroom with both a bath and huge walk in shower. The main bedroom was a bit small with no room for open cases so probably best for an overnight or weekend stay. Note also that rooms are not serviced daily. "Lovely stay, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Location is great right in town centre. Food was excellent. The room was very clean and a good size shower just a shame the water was a bit lukewarm but maybe as it was the furthest room. Would definitely recommend a stay. "
